We are sorry to tell you that Steve has moved on to a new venture and has asked us to remove him from the website, but we do not know where he has gone to. We all wish him well with his new venture. ========================================================== What’s happening in Year Two. The M6DXGROUP has now been in existence for over a year and we have done some of the many things that anyone can do once you have qualified as a foundation licence holder. Over the next few weeks we will be looking at how to get started. This will include joining a amateur radio club and learning many new skills that you may have never had the confidence to carry out or even getting over a case of being mic [microphone] shy. This isn’t something to be ashamed of as it is holding you back from a chance of gaining new friends all around the world. Here are few things that we are going to cover in the next 12 months. What is ham radio. Finding a group. Where you can listen. Getting the information. Ham radio and the Disabled. The test questions. Buying new equipment. Buying second hand equipment. There will be new links for you to follow and an upto date list of events in all areas as we can find. The calendar of events is also going to change as we need the space to give you a month at a time information and events. Your help and input will be very welcome at all time and you may still be able to help when you pass your foundation licence.
