Year of Braille.

RNIB-M6DX-BRAILLE.

 Hello Mandy. 

Success, we hit our target and beat it by 140.  We made 640 contacts around the world and about 1out of 6 didn't know what Braille was and who would use it.  So we had a short chat and explained about what it is and who uses Braille.  We will be sending 251 packs out over the next month as they were asked for.  We started at 09.00 hrs and we closed down at midnight.  We at M6DX Group would like to thank you for all the support that you gave us throughout this event and may I say on behalf of all the group, we really enjoyed promoting the use of Braille.

As soon as we cleared one call then more were coming back to us.

We had a few technical faults with the camera due to Vodafone signal which I have reported but they are not interested as there is not enough commercial business in the area.

Once again a very big thanks from all at M6DX Group, and we hope we can work with you again.

Andrew,

Very many thanks for letting me know how your event went.  I will see if
we can get it mentioned in the 'latest news' section on the Louis
Braille pages.  The next update will probably be in a fortnight and very
many thanks for spreading the word (domestically and internationally) on
why Braille is so brilliant
